Heart & long-term markers

Long-term health isn’t a pill. It’s a few markers you decide to watch from now on.

Markers: LDL · HbA1c · CRP · Vitamin D · Homocysteine

The idea

The industry sells exotica with promises of “rejuvenation”. We write one EU-approved claim and five markers. The claim: EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (at 250 mg a day). The markers: LDL, HbA1c, blood pressure, hs-CRP, vitamin D — as a trend, not a one-off. Coenzyme Q10 and alpha-lipoic acid carry no approved claim — descriptive; NMN and the like we don’t offer.

The goals

Your 5 numbers watched: LDL, HbA1c, blood pressure, hs-CRP, vitamin D — as a trend.

Omega-3 (2 capsules) — EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart.

Vitamin D, folate and B12 — for bones and normal homocysteine metabolism.

A re-test habit 1–2 times a year — prevention is follow-up, not a campaign.

What the test looks at

The questions look at movement, diet, weight, tobacco, family history and sleep — the risk factors doctors use. With blood results: LDL and lipid profile, HbA1c, hs-CRP, vitamin D, homocysteine where available. Values outside the reference ranges are for a doctor; the protocol covers only the deficiencies.

The solutions

From our ingredients

Omega-3 from microalgae (2 separate capsules): EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart at 250 mg a day; vitamin D to bones and the normal function of the immune system; magnesium to normal muscle function and electrolyte balance; folate and B12 to normal homocysteine metabolism; calcium to bones. Coenzyme Q10 and alpha-lipoic acid — no approved claim, descriptive.

Lifestyle — without it, supplements are cosmetics

150 minutes of moderate movement a week + 2 strength sessions, weight under control, no tobacco, vegetables and fibre every day, sleep — that moves the markers most.

What to expect

This is the only module where the “result” is a trend: the markers are looked at every 6 months and yearly, together with the doctor.
